Kaitlyn turned 1 on Friday!! It has been a very hard couple of weeks which started with a horrible cough, runny nose, croup, ear infection, and finally yesterday (the day of her party)..a severe outbreak of eczema along with torrential downpours!!!! Poor Kaitlynwasn't feeling all that great for her celebration but we made the best of it.
Preparing for her birthday was a little sad! I made a dvd of her first year and through that, was able to relive a lot of memories from her early days. I keep saying that it was a very long year but when I think about it, I can remember her actual birth day so clearly!! She made her way through each of the milestones as we cheered her on. It has been such a great joy to watch her grow over this past year and we can't wait to see what's in store for her..
Anyway, we had a lot of fun even though she wasn't 100%.

The Becharas' got Kaitlyn this ADORABLE butterfly tent and Carrie actually put it up for us too - thanks soooo much!!! She said that assembly came with the gift!!!
