Playing outside

I am really starting to enjoy the backyard toys mom got for me!

Look at my long hair flowing in the back..
Soon I will be too big to crawl through here..its already a struggle!

Playing with my laughing chair!

Grammama gave me this new laughing chair - I love it! It sings the alphabet and lots more!!

One of my favorite things to do is stand at the back door and look outside!

Here I am practicing my pointing!

Meet Calvin Smith

Well we tried and tried but these were a few of the limited pictures we got from our playdate with Calvin. He was only a week old when we met him and sooooo cute!!! Over 10 lbs when he was born!!!! Great job momma Kathy!! (ps..you look great!)

Colleen brought sorbet which I could NOT get enough of...

Hermit Crabs

Kaitlyn-

I was just looking at all of the exciting activities you have been doing the last couple of months. I thought I would share with you some of the activities that I have been doing. This is a video of two hermit crabs I found right outside my office!! Apparently, they are in some sort of disagreement. I think the one on the left wants the other crabs shell.

Aunt Katharine

P.S. Sorry I can't make it to your 1st birthday party, but I have something special coming in the mail to you!!

I missed the Tigers game

Today - Everyone got to go to the Tigers game! I was supposed to go but it was way too hot and humid so I stayed home with Grandma Gurin!! I still wore my Tigers shirt to support the team though..Here are a few shots from today (I didn't go outside even once today!!)

Go Tigers!! They ended up winning - finally!

The Birmingham Fair

Today we went to the Birmingham fair which was so fun! I loved looking at all the kids, listening to all the sounds, and smelling the elephant ears, corn dogs, and burgers! Daddy even won 2 toys for me!! I was captivated by the big rides and here I am looking way up and watching one of them..

Here is daddy presenting me with my new florescent orange puppy! Nice going dad!
Obviously we need skeeball lessons cause we couldn't score very high - but I still loved watching!
Mommy lost this "race" but again..I was so captivated by it all!
Ok..I know my bow is half off my head but I love this shot with the food stand in the background!

Transitioning to whole milk

We are in the process of slowly introducing whole milk to my diet as opposed to formula (fortunately for the household budget!!) Here I am perusing around upstairs right before trying it for the first time..get a load of some of these shots!!

I am laughing hysterically here..not so much cause of the milk but I love my sippy!! This is before I even tasted it!!
Don't worry!! I am still laughing here too! I know it looks like I hate it but this is actually an excited face!
Hahahaha!! I love milk!!........but only a little...after taking a few swigs, I decided to try again tomorrow..
