First day in the Primary Room
I have never ever seen Kaitlyn so happy as she was after her first day of school yesterday. After almost 3 years, she is finally in the Primary room at school with the older kids. At Parent Orientation last night I learned that the kids absolutely love her and she is in her element!! I am so excited for all of the fun things she is going to do at school this year!
One thing is for sure, our little girl is growing up fast!
Up North for McKenna's next birthday celebration!
Thanks to Grammama and Grampie we were able to spend Labor Day up north. We had a great time as usual with great food, great drink, and great company! The weather cooperated on Saturday and we were able to get out for a walk into town and some kite-flying! Thanks so much for the awesome weekend guys!! Love you!
Happy 1st Birthday McKenna!!!!
McKenna's 1st birthday came and went along with the end of summer. She is now walking confidently, climbing everything, laughing whole-heartedly, clapping, waving, dancing, teething (only 3 teeth still!), engaging, talking, signing, and keeping us on our toes!
To see the girls together is cuter than ever now. Kaitlyn calls McKenna her best friend, wonders where she is if she's not in the room, can't wait for her to wake up every morning so she can run in and greet her, and wants to show her how to do everything!
It has been so amazing to see both of them grow! With McKenna's first year gone I am definitely trying to focus on the fact that time doesn't stand still and we need to enjoy each and every moment while we are in it.
