My parents' beloved bird Lulu died suddenly last night at only 8 years old. My mom said it perfectly on facebook:

My sweet loving beautiful Lulu has died. :"""""""""""

Home from hospital after traumatic death scene with Lulu.....I got a bad bite as she tried to hang on to me....so sad....how we will miss her...Cockatoos have been described as 2 year-olds with a can opener, and the engineers of the bird world ...that she was ...always curious and looking for wood to chew...however, never managed the violin or piano....she did love the trombone stand, as well as cameras on tripods...had the best summer in the trees of New Hampshire pruning away

RIP Lulu

Goooooo STATE!

We always have such a great time at the tailgate party! Kaitlyn said it was the best day of her life! The weather ended up being great and the best part was spending time with all of our friends, big and small!!

My job, making the jello shots..

busy busy!

My parents came back from New Hampshire last week and boy, did the girls miss them!

Kaitlyn has not only mastered the ipad, but also the laptop. She loooooves the nick jr website and could create, play, and surf all day long!!

This is what happens when mommy is in charge of making the jello shots for the MSU tailgate :)

Marla suggested that I take a picture of our fish, who have grown an estimated 500% since we got them a few years ago! Seriously! The big one (Ms. Kim is what the girls named her) is HUGE! And they interact with us too. Crazy!!

McKenna taking her turn with the puzzle work..

I swear they were not watching a horror movie!!
