Another new sippy?

Geez mom..how many sippy's do I have to try??? Here's one with a straw that I can't figure out..actually even mommy can't get anything out of the straw so maybe its defective???

New year, new format

Weird..the new background and format is throwing me off a little but why not switch it up a bit? Just wanted to see if you guys were paying attention :)

1st bday pictures - Kiddie Kandids

Here are some shots that were taken on her actual birthday at Kiddie Kandids located inside Babies R Us. Normally I am not a fan of using "props" but the photographer was very excited about this and I think they turned out cute! Notice she is still not wearing shoes? She will not keep shoes on - I swear..we do try!!!








She didn't end up wearing her birthday dress during her party so I thought I would put a shot of it here!

First Steps!

The biggest news of this weekend is that I started walking on the Fourth of July!! This is not the best video clip but mommy was really trying to get the first steps and didn't have a lot of memory on the camera..

I am still pretty hesitant and will take about 10 steps... then I like to crawl the rest of the way. Pleeeeeze turn down your volume if you don't want to hear mommy's annoying voice in this video! Somebody tell me they have been this annoying too??!!

Sunny Days

In preparation for sunny California this August, I am trying out my sunglasses today. When paired with the Little Miss Sunshine tee (thanks for the cute bday present Jenny!) - I think I look pretty hip!

Back to the Zoo!

Today was another nice day to end the long holiday weekend so we went to the zoo again...it was actually very nice because we think a lot of families went up north so it wasn't as busy as you would have thought. Jim and I always joke that no concessions are ever open at the Detroit Zoo - it always seems like a ghost town but today ---- no sir - EVERY concession stand was open!! Thank goodness for frozen coke cause it was a hot day!!

My favorite part was the underground polar bear exhibit! I did not want to leave  - in fact, when mommy and daddy insisted, I threw what some might call a TANTRUM!?
