Little princess

I'm sorry but how cute is she!!!???!

A fun-filled fall weekend!

After our fieldtrip with school to the farm, we went back the very next day...this time with some of my friends and McKenna!

It was a perfect night for a bonfire, tractor ride, and a walk through the corn maze.

Riding the tractor into the farm....

All of the girls in a row...

Mommy and McKenna :)
Having cider and donuts by the bonfire!

Sunday we woke up and decided to hit the cider mill to pick up some pumpkins (although we decided against it after seeing how far we would have to carry them back to our car). Luckily, cousins Ellie and MJ were up for it too! We went to Yates and had a great day with the Peters!! The best part about it was that Kaitlyn fell asleep in the car home at 6:30pm and slept until 7am - woohoo!

Ellie and MJ feeding the goats..

Sippin cider out of the apple....

Pony ride!!!!
We walked through the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester afterwards and came upon this mini golf area that the kids loved!

Afterwards it was back to my cousins house to have a bath and play some more. I always have to take the obligatory bath photo!

Happy 5th Anniversary!!

I can't believe its been 5 years since our wedding....and our Hawaiian honeymoon. Who would have thought we would have 2 beautiful little girls, a wonderful and supportive family, and a cozy home to watch it all go by!

In honor of our 5th wedding anniversary, Jim had these flowers sent to the house. But get this...since the material for 5 years is wood - you guessed it...they're made out of WOOD!! They are awesome!!!!!

In return, Jim received some homemade peanut butter cookies. Yeah, times have changed ;)

Trying for.....

that first social smile.....almost there!!!

Bowers Farm Fieldtrip!

Today was the annual Gateway fieldtrip to Bowers Farm and I loved it!!!!!!!! It was pouring rain so mommy wasn't sure if we should have gone but we braved the elements and put all of our gear on and it was worth it. The morning started with the all-school meeting in the gazebo where we broke up into groups. It was so fun to see the farm with all of my friends from Ms. Kristie's class!

Farmer Karen was our guide and showed us all there was to see: the animals (including milking a goat), the corn maze, the tractor ride (my favorite part), the pumpkin patch, the banjo sing-along (which I danced along to), and the cider and donut treats!

To start, here is a picture from last years trip to the farm..

and....this year!

Looking at the huge spider they have set up!

Heading into the corn maze....

Love this pic with the scarecrow!
Seriously, if I could describe the glee with which she was screaming on the tractor ride.....priceless!
Having fun with my friend Sloan
