Today was my last day at UDM. It was so bittersweet because I kept thinking about all the time that I have spent there and all the experiences that I've had. I basically grew up in the UDM Admissions Office. Got engaged, got my masters degree, married, newlyweds, bought and moved into a new house, got pregnant, had Kaitlyn and now..am off in a new direction. I made a lot of good friends at UDM and worked with many good people. I will miss my huge office overlooking the middle of campus. Even when the fountain wasn't turned on, it was still the best view of campus..I was convinced!

I know that Kaitlyn is growing up so fast that before we know it, she will be walking, talking and going to school. We can't get time back and that is what's important in life - watching our children grow and develop into themselves is probably going to be the most incredible journey.

New Years Day, 2008

New Chapter

Hi! I have heard so much about blogging, I thought we'd give it a try. Its so hard to keep up with Kaitlyn and all of her developments but hopefully it will be easier to document here. 

Starting the new chapter of our lives this week with my leaving UDM Admissions Office for part-time advising position at Baker College in Allen Park. Feeling good about my decision because I have such awesome support from my husband, family, and friends.
