zoo date

We met Lindsey and Will (McKenna's boyfriend) at the zoo today. It was another day over 40 degrees that we took advantage of. You can't go wrong with some fresh air and friends!
 The snacks were a hit.
 weird ant-eater.

40 degrees and counting.

I think a wagon is one of the best (only) picture opportunities with these two. I am predicting a wagon-filled summer!
to see this puddle through her eyes was priceless!

come on spring! or at least march.   :)

Valentines Day!

 Our day was so fun!

 opening our mail!

 preparing our valentines for school!

made with love, and supposed to be heart-shaped, I swear!

loving her red shawl...and her sister!

the card ceremony!

These treats also came home with Daddy!

I could publish a book with her expressions - I swear!

Ended the day by re-arranging the playroom and celebrating my birthday. again. :)

McKenna, indoor time.

Okay, it's official. We are ready for Spring. We have been cooped up inside for waaay too long now. I keep telling the girls, only 6 more weeks. 6 more weeks. It's not that long. Is it?

the sunlight was deceiving, it was 7 degrees...

To help break up the weeks, we have been hanging out with the Remeika girls. Here they are last week at the Ferndale Rec Center.

McKenna suprised me (and herself - I think) one day when she started stacking and stacking and stacking! Awesome!
