Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday

Kaitlyn decided on a unicorn/rainbow theme for her 6th birthday at the art studio. I think you will see what a great day she had. The years seem to be flying by now and I am doing my best to capture each of these most precious moments. Living each day to the fullest and making the most of their childhood is what it's all about :) Enjoy!

The unicorn wall decal she got for her birthday!
The ice cream cone cupcakes from her birthday party at school.
The unicorn birthday cake - just what she asked for :) made special by mommy (thanks to pinterest)

The actual birthday morning, she came out of her door and found streamers and decorations across her doorway. She would NOT break through the birthday barrier...and most of it is still hanging in her doorway over a month later: When she came downstairs, she found her seat at the table with all the fun birthday presents, a number 6 pin, birthday cards, the birthday singing elmo (comes out every year), princess crowns for her and McKenna, birthday hats, and even "Kaitlyn" confetti!

She was allowed to open one present in the morning and she chose to open the box with her brand new light up shoes - she was soooo excited!

Birthday slurpees with Ms. Melissa (and her birthday crown from camp).

The following is the series of pictures from when Kaitlyn opened up the present from McKenna (a sparkly unicorn). Just watch the expressions on both faces - so so priceless!

The next group of pictures is from her birthday party at Wonderworks. She had so much fun painting rainbow and unicorn piggy banks, having a scavenger hunt, reading magical stories, getting her face painted, eating birthday cake, and being with all of her friends

Happy Birthday to our sweet girl! Love you!!!
