McKenna's first christmas!

Smiling and talking (or babbling... or screeching) up a storm lately!!!!!! She has definitely found her voice!

Still fighting off this cold!

Since Kaitlyn has been on winter break she has spent a LOT of time wearing her butterfly wings...and being sick.

She had to have the ice pack here cause her "tummy hurt"...awwww!

Christmas is here!

This year we really got to experience Christmas through the eye's of 2 and-a-half year old Kaitlyn. It was so much fun to buy and wrap presents for her, sing christmas carols together (her favorite was "walking in a winter wonderland"), and anticipate the arrival of Santa and his reindeers.

Post Xmas Fun!

The day after Christmas, my friend David came over and we had so much fun playing together!

The tree is up and the stockings are hung! Aunt Kath and Peter are coming into town, we have plans to toast to the new year with some great friends, and most importantly, we are celebrating our first Christmas as a family of four!!

Approaching the holidays!

As we approach the holidays, things have been getting hectic; hence the absence of the blogging!

McKenna is showing more and more personality by the day! She has found her thumb (which tends to passify her for an extra 5-10 minutes before her 2am feeding!!) and she gives us big smiles and squeals of delight now-a-days...We are excited to see what she will discover next!!!

We are always trying to get Kaitlyn to help entertain McKenna...Kaitlyn always makes sure to let us know when McKenna is or is not crying.

Friday was Kaitlyn's last day of school until January. It figures she gets sick on her first day of winter break...:(

But she sure does get special treatment when she's sick..vidoes galore! right now, she is LOVING frosty the snowman and dora's christmas carol movie.

I can't believe it but McKenna is officially outgrowing her infant bathtub. I think this may have been her last bath in the sink!

3 month prep shoot!

Both Kaitlyn and McKenna have "1st year frames" that display their monthly pictures from birth - 1 year. I'm so glad I have kept up with them because I love looking at the amazing transformation that takes place during the first year.

I can't believe I'll be taking McKenna's 3 month pictures tomorrow! I may just have to use this first one in the frame..so cute!
