We had a rough couple of days last week when three houses on our block lost power. It would have been manageable if it wasn't the hottest day of the year. With the heat index, it was 110 degrees. Nonetheless, we decided to pack up and head to an air conditioned hotel for the night. The girls had the time of their lives at the hotel!!!

Signing Families Review

I recently reviewed the Signing Families Back to School "Let's make Friends" series. Their goal:

"Building communication bridges in schools one SIGN at a time" :)

The package of materials included a beautiful, glossy-laminate folder with images of children signing, a bookmark with more images of signing, and a sign expressions trilingual language chart! 

Kaitlyn loved making the signs and learning some words! She went through all the pictures in one sitting :) I love that educational materials are getting more savvy and kid-friendly.
