1st day of Kindergarten :)

The supplies were purchased and labeled, the clothes were laid out, the girls were in bed early... and just like that, Kaitlyn started Kindergarten. She was over-the-top excited; wanted nothing to do with us once she got to the school steps. She introduced herself to everyone, she was all smiles. She was so proud to finally be going to school. I am so excited to see what this year will bring. The tears I shed today are for new beginnings. For closing one chapter and starting another. For new friends, teachers, and routines. Kaitlyn - may you always feel the love for school as you do today :)

Whiskey Toast - coast to coast

On what would have been Micah's 33rd birthday, Kelli hosted a virtual whiskey toast on facebook. It was awesome. All day long, people from around the country were posting pictures of themselves toasting to Micah. Here's to life and love. Rest in peace Micah.
