Uncle Daniel and Aunt Audrey's Main Wedding!!

We were anticipating the trip for a while and to say I was prepared for the drive is an understatement (thank you PINTEREST). The girls each had their own roadtrip binders with maps, roadtrip bingo, license plate games, find the slug-bug, coloring, connect the dots, blank journal pages, jokes, and more. The binders were absolute life savers. We also had a "travel" car hole punched onto a string that moved along every hour on the hour. The girls were so excited to move that car! Hey, what else do you expect us to do on a 15 hour drive?!

We stopped at my parent's house in New Hampshire on the first night. I will NEVER get sick of this view. This picture has been taken a MILLION times by everyone that has ever been to that house! Stocker Pond at its finest!!!!

The next morning we went to breakfast at Foothill's in Warner, NH. We've been there before and it will never disappoint. Just a down home country lovin restaurant. Kaitlyn and Daddy played checkers on the porch before we were on the road again.

Love this up on the wall at Foothill's

Finally we arrived at Quohog Bay Inn. The place was amazing with 4 rooms/suites (our family had 3 of them so we pretty much took up the entire place for the weekend). They are situated right on the bay with working lobsterman coming in and out at all hours - dropping off their catch. There were hundreds of lobster traps piled up right on the pier.

Our first day in Maine, my mom watched the girls while Jim and I went for a short trip out to one of the many islands. It was beautiful! And so nice to be able to shop in the store without the little people running around touching everything!

Day 2 was lunch at an AWESOME LOBSTER HOUSE with the family. I just love Uncle Peter in this picture. Says so much!!! Love Aunt Kath and Uncle Peter!!!

This bad boy deserves its own post...but I'll hold back.

We found a HUGE horseshoe crab! No picture!!!!! HUGE!! I picked it up and McKenna examined it!

Next it was time for the rehearsal dinner at a beautiful rental home right on the edge of the island looking out onto the ocean. Awesome!

Picking out our lobsters for wedding day lunch with Uncle Daniel while Audrey got ready!

about to dig in! 7 lobsters ready to go!

pre-wedding conversation on the porch with Mom
The wedding was so beautiful and just their style! My brother and sister-in-law looked amazing and everything went off without a hitch!

The day after the wedding it was back to New Hampshire for the night...

We also celebrated Kaitlyn's birthday in New Hampshire - so fun!

Then we were on the road again to Niagra Falls for the night before heading back to Detroit..
